Sweetchilli presents Livewire

This Easter Saturday 15th of April we have put together an event that includes DJ's from 3 of our biggest nights ever!! Think back to our first major event - James Holden rocking the floor at a sold out Gas nightclub for the launch of Balance 005.  Then 2 months later another sellout event at Space this time with Dave Seaman!  Move on to the best event we held at Suzie Q's.  700 people making the club jump with Anthony Pappa at the controls for the launch of Balance 006!!
 
Sweetchilli along with our good friends at Sounds and Renaissance have combined to throw a truly massive event on Easter Saturday at Home Nightclub - Livewire!!! The night features 3 of your favourites - Dave Seaman, Anthony Pappa & James Holden + some of the freshest new talent on the international scene - Paolo Mojo, DJ T & Rex the Dog LIVE. Local support is from Robbie Lowe, Crispin, Daniel C, Ben Korbel, Sugar Ray & Mark Pritchard

Don't miss out ladies and gents - this is the biggest event Home has seen.... EVER!!  There is also a very real chance it will be the last event of it's kind at the club.  Recently Home have moved to start a regular Indie Rock Club and split the club in two with the Terrace running as a seperate venue on Saturdays....we have managed to secure the entire venue for a last hurrah!!!

Dave Seaman has made a name for himself as one of Sydney’s most loved international DJs, consistently selling out Sydney events for almost 10 years. Dave has performed at Renaissance, Two Tribes, Sweetchilli and returns to dish out his upfront party style, promoting his new Renaissance Masters compilation.

James Holden, undoubtedly one of the most uniquely creative DJs and producers in the modern electronic music scene and owner of the Border Community record label. Holden?s style has branched out dramatically over the years, now covering a broad spectrum of sounds, including tech, electro, minimal house and techno. His fan base is as wide as his musical taste.

Anthony Pappa is without doubt Australia’s most successful export as far as international DJs are concerned. He has released compilations through Renaissance, Global Underground and more recently through the Balance mix series. Anthony has recorded under the Freefall moniker and alongiside Barry Gilbey as Pappa & Gilbey. His most recent Sydney performance saw a sold out Sweetchilli rocking well into the morning as part of his Balance cd tour.
 
Paolo Mojo is a member of the new breed of DJs, alongside the likes of James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli & Desyn Masiello. He runs his own labels Orca and Music is Freedom and has just completed remixes of Pryda – Aftermath that are set to be huge. John Digweed has said he is one of the most talented new DJ’s in the world right now. Danny Tenaglia thought Paolo’s demo cd one of the best he has heard. He is the current star at the helm of the Balance mix series and Livewire will be his first ever Sydney event.

DJ T of  Get Physical Records, hails from Berlin, Germany. DJ T is co-owner of the Get Physical label which has influenced house music and electro more than any Other label over the past two years. His sound, whether you label it electro/tech/ house/acid/ or just plain good music, is guaranteed to ignite any dancefloor and is an inspiring insight into the world of underground electronic music.
