Porter, Fair and Masiello firing up your Winter

We always seem to be gearing up for a huge 3 months when in fact the strean of awesome acts and parties is constant.  The next 3 months is no different so stick with us and we may give you a break in August!!
 
Before jumping into details we wanted to thank all those that have been showing us so much support.  Livewire goes down as on of the best events of the past 2 years, no question.  Awesome music on every floor and the best crowd we have ever seen at Home - we hope that's a reflection on the lovely people Sweetchilli attracts...but whatever..thank you, thank you, thank you!!  April also saw Sweetchilli host Paolo Mojo at various spots around town aswell as organising him gigs interstate as part of the Balance 009 CD launch.  Paolo's visit must go down as one of the most successful first time tours of any artist coming through Australia - the Balance cd has been a huge success and we wish him well on his very extensive world wide tour.  No doubt he will be back to please your aural senses before too long!!

In May New York City's STEVE PORTER returns for a national tour in support of his "PORTERHOUSE" mix compliation.  Steve plays Sweetchilli at Havana Club de Luxe on Friday 19th May.  Havana is the site of the old Suzie Q's but that's where the similarites end.  The venue has undergone a complete facelift and is now one of the most comfortable venues in Sydney.  One huge main room with massive comfy booths to each side of the dance floor, 3 bars and a beautiful chill out room.  The venue is sweet and we know you'll like it!  For those that caught STEVE PORTER when he played for Sweetchilli last year, you know you're in for an absolute treat.  Steve played one of the most fun and energetic sets you're ever likely to hear, maintaining the PORTERHOUSE idealogy of "no rules, no borders".  For full details Click here
 
June see's the return of Canada's LUKE FAIR to our shores for a second national tour.  Luke is yet to play an intimate club gig in Sydney but all that will change on Friday 2nd June.  We have booked our favourite intimate venue and probably the best small venue in Australia - The Civic Hotel's Theatre.  This will be the perfect environment to see Luke in.  Capacity is limited so please come down early - tix will be a measly $10 before 11pm and $20 after!!  This is sure to be an absolute cracker, so don't miss out!! And in early July the hugely popular DESYN MASIELLO returns to play Sweetchilli.  Desyn was an absolute revelation on his last tour.  Supporting his Balance 008 cd release which won 2005 mix compilation of the year in many dance music publications.  Desyn played sold out gigs in every state during his last visit leaving a great impression on all who came to see him.  This tour will be bigger and better than the last!!
